After being a work-from-home dad for 4 years, and deciding to take on a new office job requiring me to leave home each day, we were left with the quandary – our 2 pitties aged 4 and 2, had never known anything but lounging at dad’s feet while he tapped on something all day. We tried crating them all day, hoping they would adjust but they did not. They were constantly needy, anxious, tucking their tails and hanging their heads when we got home, thinking they’d done something wrong. And then there were a few accidents – HOW DOES ONE POOP ON THE WALLS?!?!?!!! It was breaking my heart at what they were enduring because of a decision I had made. We decided to contact and interview a few pet sitters, just to see what was out there. And that’s how we met Monica and Tails Wagging. She came for the initial visit with a copy of her insurance policy, and based on our discussion, drew up a contract we all reviewed and signed. We were a bit anxious, but decided to give it a try. That was 6 months ago, and we haven’t looked back! Monica is calm, confident, hyper responsive, extremely friendly, and most importantly – it’s obvious she loves her work and loves our dogs as if they were her own. Now when we get home, both dogs are relaxed and content. We are far from the perfect clients but she is always willing and able to accommodate our last minute requests. Both dogs are happy, we’re happy, and we can’t recommend her services enough to anyone!
